All checked in and just waiting for our flight...while we watch people continue to gamble to kill time: no winners yet.
A true no reservations, seat-of-the-pants trip where the destination IS the journey...

Bahama Breeze
Grabbing lunch at Bahama Breeze. A Caribbean themed restaurant.
Five hours till lift-off!
Last Day!
Okay, we were really ready for home last night, but alas we have still a full day here- our flight doesn't leave until 6pm.
Gonna do some shopping. Already hit
The pool: which was very quite today!
Maybe hit a couple off strip casinos, then it's homeward bound!
Pictures..
1) & 2) scattering of Dads ashes at base of cactus.
3) Us at Penn and Teller.
4) the lazy river at the Mandalay Bay Beach.
We got whacked.
Yesterday morning we took a drive out to Red Rock and stopped a picnic area to scatter some ashes.
Of course we hit the pool after, then grabbed some grub at The Cosmopolitan buffet: The wicked spoon (review to come).
We then checked out the Mob Experience at The Tropicana...where we were shot down in a hail of bullets!
We made it an early night as today will be a very long day.

Swingers at minus 5
Hit on by a Couple (one gay, one lesbian) at Minus 5. Drank quick!!!
Winning at the Wynn
At the Wynn where FINALLY we got some free play! Beautiful inside and out.
About last night
Got on "the deuce" bus last night and rode down the strip in a double decker bus. Saw the "aerial acts" at circus circus and Chris won $100. Did the Freemont Street thing (quite the memorial day theme- who knew Vegas was so patriotic) and had a 4 dollar hot dog special. I love condiments and Binons did not disappoint. Met an odd old man who told us his life story and was filled with advice which involved a deck of playing cards to create super human children. Rode the bus back and played some one buck craps until collapsing from overstimulation and exhaustion.
A night of 5s
In a city that isn't as cheap as me (Chris) finding deals is my mission. Though Amanda found these:
$5 apps and drafts at Lynard Skynards.
$5 hotdog with chips, beer, and condiment bat of 30 items!
Plus many restaurants offer similar happy hour specials.

90 and sunny!
Checked in and even took a dip in one of their many pools!
Sunny and 90 right now. Off to grab a bite to eat and hit downtown.
Touchdown!!
Just landed after a 3 hour flight in sunny Las Vegas! Uneventful flight. Now baggage then car rental then poolside!

Black out!!!
At Merlin's Rest, grabbing some Scotch Eggs when a storm blows through and knocks out the power!!!
Better now than 8am tomorrow for our flight!
Leap Of Faith
However, we didn't chose to do the course but skip right to the big two: "Leap of Faith" and "The 3G Swing." This did mean, though, that we had to wait about 45mins for a group to get through the course first...which only gave us more time to "chicken out!"
We didn't though!
Despite kinda cool and rainy weather, and far too much thinking time, we decide to "go for it!"
Amanda and I took turns going first. She went first on the LOF and I went first on the 3GS.
Yeah, we screamed...while you feel the pull of the swing while you are up there, as soon as you step off, there's nothing...you free fall until you think you are about to hit the ground only THEN does the swing PULL back.
As for the leap, the hardest part truly was just standing on the post WITHOUT the aid of the rope...trusting yourself and your BALANCE to do it. Once standing, the view was quite nice! Though the bar did look FURTHER away than from the ground.
After kicking some adrenaline into our system we took some time to just relax at the cabin, fish, play some pinball, and just be.
Today we are preparing for Vegas, dotting the "i"s and crossing our "t"s. Hoping for a smooth flight and not TOO hot weather to greet us.
